Coldblack reduces heat absorption in dark fabrics. The effect is measurable and useful for hot-climate garments and shading products. But it's still a finish—the base fabric's breathability and weight drive comfort more than the coating does.

This is the transparency lesson: I've been burned by quotes that look low upfront and grow once you add "finish fee, certification fee, special handling."
